James Douglas Clarke and Stephenie Jayne Jennings are getting married on Saturday 15th June, 2013…and we can’t wait!

The Ceremony

Our good friend and local vicar Rev Sam Leach will be marrying us at St Alban’s Church in Ashmore Park, a 5 minute walk from our house. We’ve got to know Sam, his wife Jo, their dog Dibley and more recently their twins Isaac & Ellie over the past 18 months and it was because of Sam & Jo’s warmth and enthusiasm we decided to get married at St Alban’s.

The ceremony will be followed by tea and cake in the Church Hall (or garden, depending on the weather), served by the lovely ladies from Ashmore Park Community Centre next door.

The Reception

The Reception takes place at the nearby Corpus Christi Social Club, the same venue that Steph’s parents celebrated their wedding at! We’d love you to walk with us the from the Church to the reception (approx 350 yards), where there will be lots of eating (a hog roast), drinking (a cheap bar!) and dancing (music supplied by these guys), as well as a couple of speeches.

Free parking is available in front of the Church, at the shopping precinct opposite and at the Ashmore Inn pub next door to the Church.

The Reception: Begins at 7:30pm for evening guests

Parking: Free parking is available in front of St Alban’s Church, in the shopping precinct opposite, at the Ashmore Inn pub located next to the Church and at the rear of Corpus Christi Social Club. Everything is within a short walk, so there’s not much point moving your car!
